Cotton, ho! (ick), as well as a Knitty hopeful (better than Miss America!)

So, I have a new job as the spawn of Satan (aka: a telemarketer.) At least it's for charities, so I don't feel quite so bad for taking money from people who can't afford to give it away. But it's still crummy, and I can't wait to get back to school, so that I can go back to making theatre-y goodness.
I finally managed to sneak some knitting into work. I started by knitting under the table, but once my sales went through the roof(ish) as a result, the owner of the company came over and left me a little note:
"Please knit. You do better."
Yay for not being in the knitting closet at work no mo.
I have decided that I must be rid of our family's seemingly immense stash of worsted weight cotton, and because it is a mindless knitting project, I have been churning out washcloths by the score. I finally improved on my Grandma O's pattern for them, so they are actually looking quite good. *pats self on back*
I have decided that another worthy summer project is to try and write a pattern to submit to Knitty, only one of the most awesome knitting magazines ever. I have several designs that I have made, but stupidly never written the patterns down for, even though I have cranked them out several times with much enjoyment. Now it's time to try to get them written out!

Traveling Knitting: Moroccan edition

Traveling to Morocco tomorrow to visit my brother (he works at a school of Arabic for English speakers.) While I'm excited to visit, and have selected reading material for the journey (P.G. Wodehouse is an essential traveling companion, in case you didn't know), I have to figure out what to bring to work on.
I know I will be bringing the shawl that I am making for my cousin L for her wedding, but what else??

I'm sure I'll figure it out be tomorrow afternoon... I hope...
